Christmas in people’s hearts

November 19, 2026 - January 10, 2027

The exhibition Christmas in People’s Hearts presents traditions from yesterday and today, from here and elsewhere, in all their variations, uniqueness, singularity, and colors.

Ah, Christmas—a festive, solemn, and magical time of year, steeped in a multitude of traditions. Far from being immutable, these traditions evolve over time, through generations and encounters between people from different countries and cultures. It is undoubtedly this liveliness that makes Christmas traditions so important to families.

Christmas in people’s hearts presents traditions from yesterday and today, from here and elsewhere, in all their variations, uniqueness, singularity, and colors. Because, when you think about it, there are at least as many variations of Christmas traditions as there are family recipes for meat pies… and that’s perfect!

Come and enjoy a wonderful time filled with discoveries, smiles, light, a touch of nostalgia, and a good dose of happiness. The exhibition is designed to appeal to both adults and children, thanks to a variety of mediating elements (texts, videos, audio, photographs, games) that will engage several of your senses. In addition, Lëon, our new mascot, will allow younger visitors to discover the exhibition more independently, as will our famous Search and Find game !
