Fleurs et jardins (French only

June 11, 2026 - October 25, 2026

Fleurs et jardins is a stroll through the gardens of the Estrie region from the last century, featuring some twenty photographs that capture the lush greenery and colorful flowers of the summer season.

Although they have served various purposes over the centuries—sometimes as a natural pharmacy and family pantry, other times as a local place of rest—gardens have remained a fixture around homes to this day. During the 20th century, the Eastern Townships were no exception, seeing a profusion of gardens and flower beds bloom, embellishing courtyards and offering city dwellers a little corner of paradise. The Mhist presents a selection from its collections and offers you an ode to greenery… and to fine weather!
