Parcelles d’histoire(s) (French only)

June 11, 2026 - October 25, 2026

Once they’re taken out of the storage areas that ensure their preservation, museum artifacts come to life, so to speak. Will you listen to what they have to tell you?

Museum artifacts bear witness to a past—sometimes personal, sometimes collective, or even familial—but generally one that has passed. They embody craftsmanship and social, industrial, commercial, or cultural practices. These objects also reflect history: the grand narrative shared by one or more generations, or the smaller stories of ordinary people at a certain time.

Parcelles d’histoire(s) has brought dozens of artifacts from the Mhist collections to life so they can tell you their stories. How? Through thematic displays, photographs, informative (yet engaging) texts, archival materials, and stories…

Our artifacts want to speak to you: are you ready to listen?
